Why Buy A Guitar From Me?

My interest in guitar building started when I could not find a suitable instrument for my own playing. I was looking to buy an instrument with a sound far superior to the factory made student model that I owned, as my playing was improving. With the effort required to learn to play the classical guitar and the number of hours put into practising, I wanted a more rewarding playing experience.

The difference in sound of a handmade guitar made from solid wood compared to a factory plywood model is vast. Sound and volume of the handmade guitar are far superior. The look and feel of a handmade guitar is also way above that of a factory made instrument. I found that having a quality instrument not only made playing more enjoyable, but improved my playing as I found that I wanted to play and practise more.

After building my first guitar, I wanted to know what effect different tonewoods would have on the sound. How does spruce compare with cedar? Also what difference does the strutting in the soundboard make? Subsequent guitars were built following plans of guitars built by famous luthiers such as Ignacio Fleta, Robert Bouchet and Santos Hernández - each one of these luthiers made guitars with different soundboard strutting and slightly different shapes and sizes.

I now offer affordable handmade classical guitars made from a variety of different tonewoods and designs, each to suit the individual guitarist. My guitars have received much positive feedback from teachers, students, guitarists and customers.
